Photography has been a hobby & passion of mine since childhood.  Taking pictures is an outlet for me to express myself creatively and to find purpose in everyday things. Over time I've been blessed to have people take an interest in my work and have met so many wonderful people along the way.  I've always given back to the community through volunteering.  At some point I realized that I can easily turn my hobby into a way of helping others.  By donating my work to nonprofit auctions and serving as event photographer for fundraising events I've turned my passion in to purpose.

Tools of the Trade

I shoot with a Nikon D7200 and five different lenses.  I also shoot on the fly with my iPhone 11 Pro.  I utilize a tripod, backdrops, reflectors and lighting equipment. If I could only take pictures with the blink of an eye...

Attention to Detail

Attention to detail aka OCD.  I've got it.  I make sure I set up a shot so there is nothing distracting to whatever is the main focus whether it be a stray hair, a piece of lint on a shirt or someone walking in the background.

Edit Room

I love spending time editing photos to give them that extra special oomph.  I use my Mac tools or Lightroom for my Nikon D7400 images and a variety of editing apps for my iPhone images.  I especially enjoy using Snapseed.

I thrive on making an effort to see things in a different way.  The idea of taking something ordinary and making it extraordinary by simply changing the perspective is appealing to me.
